Our mission at MuseConnect, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit music organization, is to create a new forum for musicians, music lovers, and music supporters to share and connect through the series of high caliber concert we present. Not only do we promote appreciation for musical arts through our diverse and uniquely-designed thematic concerts, but we also provide a platform for both musicians and audience members alike to connect in a way they will always remember and cherish. Our goal is to create a more personal concert experience that will give the audience a closer look into our concept of fusion: merging the East and West across the boundary of culture and the various genres of musical artistry. Specially featuring Violinist Yu-Wei Hsiao was born and raised in Taiwan. Not only confined to classical violin, Mr. Hsiao’s crossover abilities have led him to featured performances with a variety of artists in such groups/shows as Weill Cornell Jazz Band, Taiwan TV Show “Super Taste”, Taiwanese singer- A-Lin ’s Sonar World Tour Final Concert, Kovasky by Minika Ko: NYFW Fashion Show, Drye/ Marinaro Dance Company, Gallery Players’ 2019 Production of Musical Spring Awakening/Little Women , and Stainless Steel Dance Company among many others. Mr. Hsiao received his Master of Music degree from the Mannes College of Music in New York City. He was honorably chosen and served as a Violin Principal at the Mannes Orchestra. While at Mannes. In 2015, Mr. Hsiao participated in the Bowdoin International Music Festival with the scholarship offer. In 2017 summer, Mr. Hsiao received fellowship from the Miami Music Festival and served as a concertmaster in the opera orchestra. Mr. Hsiao is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance at Rutgers University. Email: info@museconnect.org
